The Museum
One place that you should not miss is the local museum. It has many artifacts from Roman and pre-Roman times that have been carefully preserved and put on display. The highlight is the almost complete Roman Theater that has been painstakingly restored. Some of the props used in the theater, items of decoration for the theater itself and even a part of the stage where the performers tried to win applause from the Roman audience can be admired by modern tourists.

Costa Cálida is not as famous as the other resorts that dot the Mediterranean coast but it has its charm, as the yearly influx of tourists indicates.
